Huru is an Australian healthcare provider helping people adopt safer smoking habits for a healthier future through expert-led programs. We partnered with Huru to create a bold, confident brand identity and strategy that positions the brand as an empathetic ally through change. The challenge was to shift the smoking cessation narrative from one of guilt and shame to one of empowerment, momentum, and progress. The result is a brand that feels uplifting, lively, and human – meeting people where they are and guiding them toward healthier habits without judgment.

The visual identity is built to balance professionalism with genuine empathy. Bold typography and a calming yet vibrant colour palette create an environment that is both trustworthy and encouraging. The custom logo, with its reverberating curves, symbolises momentum and gradual transformation. The uppercase “H” asserts authority in the healthcare space, while the subtle gradation in the shoulders of the “u’s” reflects harm minimisation and change over time. Within the mark, an abstract “H” quietly reinforces the brand name while echoing the reduction of smoking habits – capturing the very essence of Huru’s purpose.
From tone of voice to graphic system, every element was designed to extend positivity, trust, and encouragement. Friendly visuals, human-centred messaging, and a clean, minimal layout make the brand approachable for individuals at any stage of their journey. The identity prioritises clarity and accessibility while fostering confidence and belonging, creating a safe space where people can engage without fear.
