During these waves of uncertainty and hella high anxiety moments, call us crazy, but we’re starting to feel a little spark that’s igniting. The possibilities of what’s to come and what can be achieved when nothing is certain is infinite.
For the first time in our lives, world leaders, businesses and people all over the world are working together for the greater good, all while proving that we can, in fact, operate in new ways.
So here’s the thing; in this crazy, overwhelming situation you might be finding yourself in, I challenge you to uncover the opportunity that it brings. Now, more than ever before is the perfect time to re-evaluate your business, your offerings and your delivery. How can you adapt to best navigate the long-term impact of this immediate global change?
That’s a pretty tough question, we know. But we’re here to help you on your way through this chaotic time. We have had a swarm of clients knocking on our door to help them get a leg up through this crazy time, and we want to help you too. So pop your pants on, or not if you’re working from home, grab your pens and paper and let’s do this!
When times are testing, look for the gaps and go for it
As business owners, we tend to have an opportunistic attitude and approach to the world we live in, so let me throw you this; Airbnb, Uber, WhatsApp and Pinterest were just some of the most loved and successful startups founded during the last recession. Literally, right now, some of the world’s most iconic companies over the next decade are about to be born. I dunno about you, but that’s bloody exciting.
When times are testing, look for the gaps and go for it. Back yourself and be brave. This may be your chance to do what you’ve always wanted to do. So go get ‘em, baby.
You’re not alone in this my friend. Big things (good things) are coming.
Imagine the future, today
The time to make real change for your business’s future is now.
Here at Bandit, our team are using this time to collaborate deeper and with more purpose than ever. We see infinite possibilities for us and our brands to adapt and diversify.
Over the next few days, weeks and coming months, take some time to reflect on these questions. They’ll help you navigate and land new ideas in this fast-moving era of change, whatever your business may be.
- How can you adapt your work processes to improve your workflow/outcome? Look at how you can cut down on unnecessary tasks. Is it time to move to an online management platform? Is there a way you can connect with each other faster? Fewer emails and scheduled meetings, more Slack chats and quicker phone calls. Strip it down to ramp it up!
- What were the weights on your shoulders within your business before this crisis hit? Is the time to address these issues now? Let this be your excuse to eradicate, change or just slightly tweak those things you already knew you had to do but have been putting off.
- How can you pivot, tweak or create a new service or product that’s relevant to our current times or better serve your customers? Think digital in the short term, but once this is all over, physical touch and connection will be going off like a house party, since we will all be severely deprived.
- Be sure to stay true to your vision, mission and values, but how can you deliver on your purpose differently? Perhaps it’s adjusting your focus on how you can really help others or committing to an ethical framework. This is the perfect time to make your mark in the world, whether it’s big or small, so how can your business bring about something that can change the world for the better?
